In its different models it comes with colors like Black, Deep Blue, Red, Coral Orange, Gold.
As operating system has the Android 8.1 (Oreo).
The Galaxy M arrives at the office with the Android Oreo on board and a Foot update waiting in the shadow of the notification. We will see the Samsung OneUI based on Android 9.0 with which we are already quite familiar from other phones. For practical reasons, it’s the same software experience you’d get on any recent Samsung phone with Foot. Indeed, it’s like having the S10 flagship, with a welcome touch. There’s no Bixby on the M30.
The user interface also comes with its own vision of gesture-based navigation. If you go to the left side of the lower bezel, you’ll see the recent applications menu, if you go to the right side of the bezel, you’ll return to the home screen. It’s simple. You can also swap the position of recent flicks and back flicks, or use the buttons in the software.
The rest of the features are well known from previous versions of Samsung’s user interface: you can place an application drawer button on the home screen, you can configure to open the application drawer with a downward sliding gesture and rearrange the applications on your home screens instead of using the application drawer.
The so-called Night Mode is a new feature in this version, as it turns all system menus, including the notification menu, black. The black theme is especially beneficial for phones with OLED panels, but since this phone comes with a standard LCD screen, the potential for battery savings is eliminated.
